Workplace Martyrs

1 Peter 3:14:- But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats.
As we go about doing what God has called us to do, we come across challenges. At first we will wait upon the Lord, but when the help seems to delay, we can start getting really depressed.
I met a lady from one of the big institutions in the country distraught. She lives in the one of the very good estates. And drives a dream car. Beautiful, committed daughter of the Lord. The problem, she has been in the same position for so long because she is unable to allow impurity in her life. It was sad. She discussed her suffering. Because time is passing. And she had ambitions. And she is a performer.
St. Peter advises that we will be rewarded and restored for this kind of suffering. That we should not even be afraid.
In Daniel 3:17 "If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand."
Daniel 3: 18" But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”
Even if help does not come, we shall stand. And it's good to know that there are many people going through that.
Acts 18:9-10:- "One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision:“Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.”
When our human nature overtakes us, we should remember that the test of love for our Lord is only through obedience.
John 14:15 "If you love me, keep my commands".
Do we really trust Him to keep His promise like a little baby?

🎼 Trust and obey, for there is no other way, to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey🎶
