What is my purpose in my Community?

Romans 12:6-8
We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
Jesus has created and called all of us to fulfill a certain task in our communities, and especially in the church. Often we find ourselves lost, or misplaced. But Each one has a gift that MUST be used in spreading the gospel, for the glory of God.
Romans 12:4-5
For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

So when we sing in church, when we act, when we usher, when we lead, when we preach, together we complete the body of christ.
So who is the greatest in our church Community?
1 Cor 12:20
As it is, there are many parts, yet one body. The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” On the contrary, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable.
None of us. We are all to use our gifts, knowing that we are one of the members. And that even the person who cleans the toilet, or makes tea, or opens the gate, is indispensable.
Have you gone to a church without a choir. Or toilets that have taken two weeks to be washed, or a place with none to show people where to sit, or no priest, or no Sunday school? All the the scenarios are unimaginable.
If you like singing like me, and always endeavor to deliver perfect music, it's easy to pick an overzealous choir member who sings off key. Even at that moment we have to be humble and remember that she is called too.
Mathew 13:8
Still other seeds fell on fertile soil, and they produced a crop that was thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as had been planted!
We will of course bear different levels of fruit. Because we have different levels of gifts. But we are called to do our best. Knowing that God sees our hearts.

So we are to ask God to reveal to us our gifts, then we are to serve zealously, in the areas where we are called, then we are to remember to stay HUMBLE, however good we become.
