Jesus, for better or for worse

Those from dry areas know the art of traditional bee keeping. When the time for harvesting comes, the bee farmer takes smoky wood, and keeping his focus on the sweetness of the honey, opens the beehive, and removes the honey combs and honey. This exercise takes several minutes. The bees that time though confused by the smoke, give the farmer, a fair share of their stings. But the farmer takes as long as needed to harvest all the honey.

Sometimes as we continue our walk towards Jesus, there will be noise from the 'bees' of life. After having tasted the genuineness, and sweetness of the love of Jesus, and after years of wandering in the world, what can we allow to separate us from our goal?

Romans 8:38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.

If we have experienced the sweetness of the love of Jesus, nothing from the earth below, or heavens above will distract us.

1 Peter 2:12 Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you, as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation.

Even when the bees sting most, we are to love them. Because we are filled with pure love from the source. Jesus. When water flows in a river, and finds a stone, the water slows down, piles up, and creates a rapid over the stone, as it moves to its destination. The only time it is stopped by the stone is when the flow reduces.

The stones in our spiritual walk are not only to be overcome, but loved. Those bees that sting repeatedly, are to be more deeply loved. Because they are more wounded. The stones and bees are a problem when the flow of the holyspirit, and the experience of the love of Jesus reduces. Or when we take our eyes off the honey, our destination.

John14:16-17 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever—the Spirit of Truth”.

And the holyspirit, our lawyer, our encourager, our comforter, will go with us, and guide us, forever, and ever. The spirit of Jesus Himself.
