Is Gods promise Four Days Late?

Roman's 4:19 He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead (since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah’s womb.
St Paul speaks of the unfailing faith and completely tested life of Abraham. And his belief even when there was no sign of success.
Romans 4:20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God.
He believed and stayed faithful even when there was no sign of the promise, a child.
From my village there was an elderly Christian lady, who was widely mocked by people because she kept to herself. She was always murmuring ( saying the rosary). She never missed church, and would be seen running for mass even in the rain, since she lived far. Being a dry place, she would wait near the road, over lunch, when the priest is coming from doing mass at a distant place and give him water and food. She did this for years.
Her family was not rich then. Her kids and grand kids were not clever in school. There was nothing to show for her faithfulness to christ at that time. She died of old age, kneeling down praying.
John 11:40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”

Today, looking at the lifes of the grand children and children, you will see the power of faithfulness of that lady to Jesus. They are blessed in every way possible, spiritually even with nuns in the family, materially, with succesful businesses, corporate leaders, politicians, administrators, etc.The same people who did not have any extra ordinary talents.
Exodus 20:6 But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those who love me and obey my commands.
Do we believe in this promise? Because if we believe, then like the old lady above, we will keep believing in Jesus, and doing what he has called us to do religiously. We will be faithful to Him completely. We will not look for signs.
Even when our kids are not talented. Even when they are rebellious. Even when people laugh at us and mock us and say we will never make it.
Our basketball coach used to insist that we keep our eyes on the ball.

So for our spiritual walk I insist, KEEP YOUR EYES ONLY ON JESUS!
