Holyspirit at the workplace

Joel 2:28 And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.

It's not interesting when we spent lots of time in prayer, and in the spirit, but then have to switch back to our daily lives. At the workplace, at home with different chores, in the community with different personalities. Its always a challenge trying to stay in the Spirit, and very soon minor irritations crop up.

I was driving my kids and my nephews one time to see our parents. Am organised. So all was set for the journey, different snacks, water, drinks. Then hell broke loose. One of my nephews starts puking direct at all the foodstuff... Am alone with them, on a hilly road. And I thot, you could have opened the window! All my 'orderliness' came to an end.

It was so bad I had to pack the car and wipe the kids, and salvage some food stuffs. I was so frustrated with the boy. I thought he could have done better, being the oldest. Then in my frustration, my 5 year old son starts singing:- whatsoever you do, to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me. I was shocked. Because we do not sing the song often.

I knew it was the holyspirit reminding me that i am a Christian and I needed to show love in all situations. At the work place, when driving, everywhere the holyspirit is reaching out to us. I love music, and God speaks to me a lot using music that I have not sung for like 25 years. If we are 'tuned' in, if we are 'online', then we will hear him. From our friends speaking, from our superiors, directly into our mind, in our dreams, through kids, through neighbour's, through bible, through our priests or pastors.

Imagine how the gentle spirit of God is at work, here on earth. To bring the kingdom of God to us here on earth. We need him to guide, to help us with business decisions. Family decisions. Investment decisions. Relationships. We only need to be tuned in.. to keep our souls 'still' enough to hear His voice.

John 16:13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. Till next time, stay tuned! Flo.
