Confession at the Well.
When we look at this face of Jesus speaking to the samaritan lady, we cant help noticing the intensity of His look, the genuineness of His eyes, and the genuine desire to fish the woman.

John 4:27 Just then his disciples returned and were surprised to find him talking with a woman. But no one asked, "What do you want?" or "Why are you talking with her?
The disciples were surprised because it was not usual for Jesus to be seen chatting around with every other woman. But they must have seen how serious he was. The poor woman, a samaritan, on the 5th husband, had most odds against her.
But the Lord noticed her. And saw the hole in her heart that needed to be filled. With the right type of love. Not the fake love from the streets.
Because of this, she BELIEVED and EVANGELISED.
John 4:27-28 So the woman left her water jar and went away into town and said to the people, “Come, see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ?”
1 John 2:6 above says those who abide in Him, ought to walk as He walked.
What would we have done with the samaritan woman? Jesus could see the potential in the lady. Jesus did not care that the disciples would speak about Him. Do we refuse to show love to some people who are looked down by others, so that we are right with the group?

Do we fail to defend someone because we do not want to offend others? Are we confident enough in Jesus to fish in the rough sea for Him? Are genuine, and intense, and focused when we do this?
Are we like Him?
