Are you resisting Gods voice?

Romans 11:13-15 I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministry in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them.
St Paul says that he was sent to preach and convert the jews. They did not receive the word as expected. Therefore he moved to the gentiles, who received the word and were so excited. As they felt privileged to receive the calling.
Imagine the criticism Paul received from Jews and fellow disciples and converts! Acts 9:15 says that God intended Paul to preach to gentiles. Sometimes God will ask some people to do some things with the intention of provoking others to get out of some comfort zone.
Jeremiah 1:17 Get yourself ready! Stand up and say to them whatever I command you. Do not be terrified by them, or I will terrify you before them.

When we are called by God to do something, and we hesitate, it hurts him. He expects us to trust that he will be with us in doing what he has called us to do.
There are those called to take care of the poor, there are those called to preach, there are those called to pray, there are those called to social justice, to join the choir. It could be something that none else is doing. Wherever we feel called to, we are supposed to take that up boldly, trusting in by the Lord to walk with us.
Mathew 21:31 Which of the two did the will of his father?” “The first,” they answered. Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God before you.
Believe me, He will call those regarded by society as unworthy, to do that thing He has asked us to do in our hearts, repeatedly, but we have hesitated. And they will be crowned at the end, for their faithfulness.

What are you sure Jesus is calling you to do?
Or He will take steps. Because someone needs that service you are being asked to offer.
